NECHAKO CARES

Main Content

Welcome

Welcome to NechakoCares.org - the Nechako area Children and Youth Mental Health and Substance Use Collaborative website for the communities of Vanderhoof, Fort St. James and Fraser Lake. The CYMHSU Collaborative is here to increase the number of children, youth, and families receiving timely access to integrated mental health and substance use services and supports in BC.

If you are a child or youth who has questions about mental health or substance use, there are people in your community that can answer these questions and help you figure things out. This website is here to help you find the right person or place that can help you. Please know that any child or young person can SELF REFER, meaning you can get help just by asking for it, without the approval of a doctor, counsellor or parent.

As we build this website, we look to you for input to help us make this website a truly useful resource for children, youth and parents. Please email your suggestions and ideas to info@nechakocares.org.

Click on a region of the map to go to that community and view the list of services available there for youth and parents.
