Mental Health & Substance Use community programs offer services that include a combination of functions with interprofessional teams, as well as some specialty services including Developmental Disabilities Mental Health (DDMH), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), eating disorders, and youth addictions counselling.
It's important to access support: Suicide is the second leading cause of death for young people aged 15-34 in Canada, and 15-20% of Canadian youth aged 15-30 have experienced suicidal thoughts.
